The current tech climate in Los Angeles bodes well for coding bootcamp graduates. As of May 2020, the city employed some 60,310 software developers 7,760 web developers and 6,910 computer programmers, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Los Angeles also ranks among the cities with the highest employment levels of software developers, web developers, and computer programmers. The report also states that salaries for tech workers in the city increased 5.4% from 2019 to 2020. Tech professionals in the City of Angels earned an average annual salary of $103,150 in 2020, according to the DICE 2021 Tech Salary Report.
